Difficult Transitions

Do you know how the success of your family’s transitions (getting out the door, mealtimes, etc.) falls entirely on your shoulders? If you want to ensure that everyone in the family helps out during those busier times, it’s important that you start reorganizing high-traffic areas of your home. It helps everyone be more independent + take on a helpful role in moving through transitions successfully.

When all of that responsibility falls on you, it’s hard to feel effective as a parent because it’s you against everyone else. And when things don’t go according to plan…you feel as if you’ve fallen short. That you’ve been ineffective. Or you’re even frustrated with everyone else for not pulling their weight. But that’s not what being a mom is about. Let’s help you to be the mom who is confident in creating an effective plan. It will help you move through those transitions with ease + cooperation.

Reorganize High-Traffic Areas to Speed Up Transitions

In this week’s Instagram Live (Tuesdays at 2:30pm EST), we dove into the important steps you can take to start shifting the narrative + making a change for the better. It’s my hope that you’ll walk away understanding the simple changes you can make to reorganize an important area of your home so that you’re empowered to start making a meaningful change when it comes to shifting responsibility toward independence.

Let’s not forget what’s worth your time + what isn’t. Putting an inordinate amount of time, effort + frustration into your everyday transitions is not the best use of you. Instead, take on the role of system-maker. That is a role worth your time! You can spend 30 minutes reorganizing strategically so that the space is set up with everyone’s independence in mind. This ultimately speeds up transitions + frees you up. You’ll quickly notice that this is true on a practical + emotional level that benefits everyone in the family.

Where to Begin

Be sure to check out the live video below for all of the ways you can start today! Don’t have time to watch? No problem, just throw on some headphones + listen in! This is one of my favorite ways to learn while also feeling productive as I fold laundry or cook dinner.

Be sure to drop a comment + share which high-traffic area of your home you plan on tackling first!
